Advanced Road Test is no longer required for Class 5 & 6
Do you have a Class 7-Graduated Driver’s Licence (aka Learner’s) or a Class 5 (probationary licence)?
Good news!
The Alberta Government announced that GDL drivers can save $150 starting in Spring 2023! You do not have to take the advanced road test to get your full class 5 or 6 driver’s licence!
Albertans who successfully complete a 24-month probationary period will automatically qualify for their full Class 5 or Class 6 driver’s licence and save $150 by not having to take a second road test.
