What is it? The Youth Advisory Task Force is a diverse group of young people from 14-24 focused on:
- Making changes for children, youth & young adults
- Increasing awareness about the challenges faced by youth and young adults in or transitioning from government care
What exactly can I do as a member?
- Share your point of view
- Provide feedback on the programs, policies, and services that impact children, youth, and young adults involved with Children and Family Services.

What is the time commitment for Task Force members?
- Members meet virtually each month in the evening and travel twice a year for an in-person gathering. On average, you can expect to volunteer 3-5 hours per month.

What experience do I need to have? What if I have never done volunteer work like this before?
- We encourage anyone interested to apply! Members are provided support and training, so they are able to engage in YATF activities in a meaningful way. All you need is a passion to get started and the ability to dedicate your time.
