Learn about voting in government elections.

Create change by voting in Elections! If you are over 18 and have ID, you can vote in municipal (city/town), provincial (Alberta) or federal (Canada) elections. Here is some excellent voting information from BearPaw Media and Education:

  • Bring your ID
  • Vote at your nearest polling station based on your address on elections day
  • Make a plan to vote at advanced polling stations
  • You can pre-arrange at home service if you have limited mobility
  • Vote by mail - apply in advance to vote by special ballot
