Starting out or starting over can be hard on the wallet! A good place to start is on your local Kijiji page in the “Free” section or on Facebook Marketplace. There’s lots of free stuff available!

St. Vincent de Paul can help with furniture such as beds, couches, tables, chairs, and any household items.
- Call them at 780- 471-5577
- They will take your info and then pass it on to a volunteer who will call you back within seven days.
- The volunteer will ask you what you need and have it delivered to you!
Calgary
Women in Need (WIN) House to home program!
- Call them at 403-234-8081
- The house-to-home program has six stores all over Calgary. They have clothing, furniture, and household items for FREE!
- They can also refer you to the Free Goods & Donation Centre, if they can't assist you.
